Kick in to Stop Sarcoidosis on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at River East Art Center in downtown Chicago.
I had the wonderful opportunity to work this great event with my buddy Eric Perez. Not only did you walk in with two camels greeting you, but a huge snake and monkey were in side eagerly waiting for your attention. Sari’s were the thing at the event and they did not disappoint. The colorful outfits, along with the lights and music made me want to eat, pray, love to India. Mindy the monkey stole the show, my heart and straws out of drinks.
This magical Arabian Nights-themed evening brought together hundreds of supporters to raise funds in support of sarcoidosis research.
Event entertainment featured creative cocktails, strolling dinner catered by Entertaining Company, blackjack, roulette, music by DJ Peter Canellis, dancing, and other delights of the One Thousand and One variety!
Proceeds from the event fund FSR’s education and research initiatives including a nationwide awareness campaign and grant program which supports researchers working to find better treatment and ultimately a cure for the disease.
